We have significantly redesigned the permissions management experience to make administration faster, clearer, and more consistent across the platform. 

Unified Permissions Workspace

Permissions are now managed through a dedicated, streamlined interface that provides a more consistent experience when reviewing and updating access rights. 

Easier Access to Permission Settings

You can now access Permissions mode directly from your current location in the document structure. When switching between Documents and Permissions views, your navigation context is preserved, helping you stay focused on the area you are working on. 

Automatic Saving

Permission changes are now saved automatically, eliminating the need for manual saves during permission administration. Published changes continue to follow the existing publishing workflow. 

Root-Level Permission Management

Permissions can now be managed directly at the root level of the data room, providing greater flexibility when applying access controls across the entire structure. 

Enhanced Group Management

When creating a new user group, administrators can now immediately choose whether to configure permissions or keep the group isolated until permissions are assigned later. 

Improved Permissions Export

Permissions reports are now generated more efficiently and provide a more consistent representation of the currently selected scope and displayed user groups. 

Search & Filtering Improvements

Finding information within large data rooms is now faster and more intuitive thanks to several enhancements to search and filtering capabilities. 

Smarter Search Experience

Searches and filters are now preserved while you navigate through the platform, reducing the need to repeatedly reapply search criteria. 

New Filtering Options

Additional filtering capabilities have been introduced directly from document grid columns, allowing users to refine results more efficiently. 

Recent Searches

The previous Saved Topics functionality has been replaced with Recent Searches, providing quick access to recently used search criteria. 

Semantic Search

Semantic Search has been introduced to help users discover relevant content based on meaning and context rather than exact keyword matches alone.

Improved Document Upload Experience

Uploading files and folders has become more intuitive thanks to several enhancements to drag-and-drop interactions. 

Enhanced Drag & Drop

Users can now drag and drop files and folders more naturally across the document workspace, including directly onto document grids. 

Clear Visual Feedback

New visual cues clearly indicate when files can be dropped, helping reduce uncertainty during uploads and making the process more user-friendly. 

Smart Q&A Enhancement

Improved Answer Sharing

When copying answers from Smart Q&A, associated source documents are now reliably included, making it easier to share answers together with their supporting documentation.
