Answering a Single Question
- As a Deal Manager or a Q&A Expert, you can create an answer to a question by selecting the question, and using the right-click / context / menu-bar option 'Reply'.

- From the question itself, you can use the same icons located above and within the question.

- Once in the answer area, you can write down your answer, or copy-paste it from another item. You can also add attachments:
- from the room (permission settings and the dynamic watermark will apply). Items need to be uploaded beforehand to be attached to an answer.
- from your computer (items will be downloadable without a watermark).

- Once your answer is ready, click ‘Add’ to save it or click ‘Add & Publish’ to save and publish it to your users (see also the ‘Publishing Answers’ section in this article).
Multiple Answers to a Single Question
The platform allows you to create multiple answers to a question and publish these to different audiences.
Bulk Answer Questions
- Click the ‘Bulk Raise Answers’ button to display the related pop-up.

- Download the template with all the questions that have the status ‘New’.

- Update the exported template with your answers.

- Go back to the ‘Bulk Raise Answers’ pop-up and select the Excel file to import the contained answers.

- Review and submit.

- Your answers are now in the ‘Replied’ status. You can still edit these and add attachments before publishing them (see also the ‘Publishing Answers’ section in this article).
The ‘Bulk Raise Answers’ tool checks your answers
The tool checks the spreadsheet you upload. It will mark the accepted formats as such, and list the answers that will be ignored. This means that you can submit partially completed spreadsheets and only the answered questions will have their status changed to ‘Replied’.
Publishing Answers
Publishing is key
Any change needs to be published. Whether on documents, permission settings, or answers, any change is saved but needs to be published to be made available to lower-level users.
From a Question
- In the question, click on ‘Publish’ to publish all the answers, or first select the answers you would like to publish in the list before hitting the button.

From the Grid
- In the grid, first select the answers you would like to publish in the list before clicking on ‘Publish’.

Audience
- When publishing your answer, you need to confirm the audience you would like to publish to:
- User (default): the user who asked the question
- Group: the user/group who asked the question
- Multiple Groups: the groups you select in the dedicated area (the question is then anonymized)
- Room: all the users with access to Q&A (the question is then anonymized)
- Un-Publish: retract the answer (and question when this was the only published answer) from the user(s)
