Accessing the Alert Matrix Window
The Alert Matrix Window is only accessible from the Publishing Window. Please also refer to the Publishing Changes article.
Documents Notifications
- The notifications that are sent out through the Alert Matrix are newly made available documents. This includes:
- Newly uploaded documents with proper permission settings
- Newly unhidden documents never made available before for the users
- Newly replaced documents (removed and re-added or through Versioning)
- This doesn't include:
- Moves
- Deletions
- Renamings
- Other permissions changes (i.e. from View to Download)
Alert Matrix Management
From that area, you can remove user groups or documents from the notification that would be sent out.
- Expand the data tree to access the items in detail
- Tick or untick the items to be notified or not to users groups
- Don't forget to save your changes!
- Carry on with the Publishing Screen workflow.
Alert Matrix Default Behavior
The default behavior of the Alert Matrix is ruled from the Settings area (default on and immediate).
