Drag & Drop
- From the Documents tab (Construction View), drag then drop files/folders to the destination folder

Documentation Storage
Your documentation needs to be stored locally on your computer before using Drag & Drop to populate your data room. If stored online, you will need to first download it locally or use an API.
- A review pop-up appears for you to check the options and the documents to be uploaded

- Documents Management area: Select one or multiple items to remove them from the upload list
- Redaction Management area: By default, Auto Redaction already applied to the destination folder will also apply to these new items. Change the Auto Redaction items from here if needed
- Strip Tree Indexes: Unticked by default. Tick that box if all your items already have indexes in their title. It will remove everything before the first space
- Inherit destination folder permissions: Ticked by default. The newly uploaded items will have the parent folder permissions applied
When ROOT is the Parent folder
When uploading or creating a new main folder, the default permission settings will be ‘Hidden’ for everyone. Go to the Permissions area to manage these.
Your Documents are not Published yet
Once uploaded, your documents are processed by our platform before being made available for publication.
They need to be published to be made available to lower-level users.
